Sunset Plaza House

Wow! What a house. We shot this scene at the Sunset Plaza House, a gorgeous concrete and glass house situated in the Hollywood Hills. Working with Jennifer was a breeze. As you can see, she's beautiful....The key to getting this shot is being able to light her just right, while still using the sun. This can be difficult sometimes, especially on a bright day on the top of a mountain. The dynamic duo made it happen.

Makaveli Branded Spring 2008 Ad Campaign

Makaveli Branded is huge in the urban market. You will most likely find them among the ranks of Rocawear, Fubu, and Phat Farm. Valerie and I worked on this exciting shoot along with stylist, Alexis Balner. The featured celebrity guest was Bone Thugs & Harmony. I'll let you in on a little secret.....we shot this 2 different days. Day 1 was Wish Bone & Lazy Bone. Day 2 was Crazy Bone. What makes a shoot like this a bit challenging is that at the end all 3 personalities have to blend. I had to make sure that their energy level and movements matched. So that when you look at it in the magazine, you can't tell.

Jean Felipe Ad Campaign

Well, well, well...what can I say? This campaign was sick!
Jean Felipe is a well known French designer in Europe. They are soon opening there very first store in Los Angeles. They called on the dynamic duo (Dimitry L & Valerie Noble) to shoot the new look for Fall 2007. We had the privilege of working with Sam Sarpong & model Krisitin Ofria.

Val & I have been shooting Sam for the last 4 years. Our list of shoots include promos & ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Ben Sherman London, Levi's and now Jean Felipe. Sam is more than a client, he's my friend.

In this shoot Sam & Kristin did not miss a beat. Of course, it helped that they both went to the same high school (but didn't know it at the time). Hmmm..... imagine that
Anyway, this was the perfect combination. This is high fashion at its best.

Rock The Bells- San Francisco

Hey, hey I'm back. Went to San Francisco to shoot celebrities for a book. I can't really say what the book is about just yet, but it'll blow your mind when it's released. However, I can share with you who I shot for the book. Mos Def, RedMan, EPMD, and B-Real from Cypress Hill.

I enjoyed shooting all of them, especially Mos Def. He was a little bit shy, but that's part of what draws you in to him. Although he's an accomplished rapper and a successful actor, he's still very humble. Of course I could be a little biased because I loved his film, 16 Blocks. But he was real cool nonetheless.

Heather Hyde Ad Campaign & Look Book

Heather Hyde is a jewelry designer in Los Angeles. Her jewelry has graced the bodies of many celebrities including Eva Longoria, Terri Hatcher, Christina Ricci and Rihanna. As you can see, Heather Hyde is an accomplished jewelry designer. But she wanted to revamp her look. So we talked about a concept that would liven up the line and make it fresh. We decided on a vintage, 1940s look. It was more than a privilege to have worked with her. The shoot was bananas!
Bananas? Well, let me explain.

There's this thing called the dynamic duo:

We shot 5 models, with 15 different looks, in 5hrs....um....you do the math
And oh yeah, a series of shots with a dog.This is why I say.... It gets no better!

Sterling Williams- Fall 2007 Ad Campaign & Look Book

Sterling Williams is one of the hottest clothing designers in Los Angeles. I shoot alot of ad campaigns, but this one is truly one of my favorites. I love his style. Anytime I rock his gear, I get nothing but heads turning...but anyway, back to the shoot :)

Sterling Williams and I finally linked up to shoot the ads. The concept was a fresh, sexy style of clothing amongst friends. Not only did I shoot the ads, Sterling let me style the shoot along with him (I love it!)

Live Mechanics is a high end urban clothing line. This shoot was for their Fall/Winter 2007 Ad Campaign. We did the shoot at Club National in Los Angeles. Among many models, I shot the featured celebrity guests Souls of Mischief. Working with them was a blast!
